Who Can Apply
- Must be a Management and Professional officer with permanent appointment in the federal civil service or a federal statutory body excluding separate pay schemes
- Must be confirmed in service by the deadline year
- LNPT performance score must average 85% or above for the last three consecutive years each being a full 12 months
- Age must not exceed 50 years for Master’s level or 46 years for PhD level at the start of the offer year
- Applicants must be pursuing or have already begun postgraduate studies at a higher level than their current qualification
- Must observe any waiting period after previous training before applying
- More than 12 months training requires 2 years wait
- Between 3 and 12 months requires 1 year wait
- Must be clear of disciplinary or legal issues not blacklisted by JPA and have declared assets within the past 5 years
- Must not receive sponsorship from any other agency for the same study
- Must have written approval from Head of Department to pursue studies part time and course must be MQA accredited
