The eSILA Portal is the official online system by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) where students apply for scholarships, check application status, and manage sponsorship-related matters.
If you’re applying for the JPA Scholarship 2025, you must know how to register and use this portal correctly.
Step 1: Visit the eSILA Portal
- Go to: http://esilav2.jpa.gov.my
- Make sure you’re on the official website (look for
.gov.mydomain).
Step 2: Create an Account (Register eSILA-ID)
- Click “Daftar eSILA-ID” (Register).
- Fill in your details:
- Full Name (as per IC)
- NRIC Number (No. Kad Pengenalan)
- Email Address (active & valid)
- Mobile Number
- Password (create a secure one)
- Confirm your details and click Submit.
- A confirmation link will be sent to your email — click it to activate your account.
Step 3: Log in to Your Account
- Use your eSILA-ID (NRIC + password) to log in.
- Once logged in, you’ll see the dashboard with application menus.
Step 4: Apply for JPA Scholarship
- Select the program (e.g., Program Penajaan Nasional, PIDN, JKPJ, DB40).
- Fill out the application form carefully:
- Personal information
- Academic qualifications (SPM/STPM/Foundation results)
- Preferred courses and universities
- Family background (parents’ income, occupation, etc.)
- Upload the required documents (IC, certificates, transcripts, etc.).
- Review your application and click Submit.
Step 5: Print Confirmation Slips
- After submission, you MUST print:
- Slip Pengesahan Permohonan (Application Confirmation Slip)
- Slip Pengesahan Ujian Psikometrik (Psychometric Test Confirmation Slip)
- Keep both slips for future reference.
Step 6: Take the Psychometric Test
- Log in to eSILA and complete the Psychometric Test online.
- After completion, print the confirmation slip as proof.
Step 7: Track Your Application
- Log in anytime to check your application status.
- If shortlisted, you’ll receive instructions for the Student Assessment Centre (SAC).
